Abstract

Skin diseases affect a significant portion of the global population, requiring accurate and timely diagnosis to ensure effective treatment. This project presents the design and development of a medical device aimed at assisting in the diagnosis of various dermatological conditions. The device integrates imaging sensors with advanced machine learning algorithms to analyze skin lesions and classify them into specific disease categories. A comprehensive dataset of skin images was utilized to train and validate the system, ensuring high accuracy and reliability. The proposed device offers a user-friendly interface, rapid diagnostic capabilities, and potential integration with clinical workflows, providing healthcare professionals with an efficient tool to support decision-making. The results demonstrate that the device can significantly enhance early detection and monitoring of skin conditions, ultimately improving patient outcomes.
